CUET 2026: Important Dates

The CUET UG 2026 application process will likely follow a schedule like previous years. Below is a breakdown of each step based on the 2025 pattern, modified for CUET 2026:

1. Online Submission of Application Form: For CUET 2026, the application form is expected to be available from the first week of March 2026. Students will be able to fill out the form on cuet.nta.nic.in until the last week of March 2026.

2. Last Date for Fee Payment: The deadline for paying the application fee will likely fall one day after the application closing date, around late March 2026. Payment will be allowed through Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

3. Correction Window: NTA usually gives students a short period to correct errors in the form. For CUET 2026, the correction window is expected in the last week of March or early April 2026, lasting around 2 to 3 days.

4. City Intimation Slip: The city of examination slip (not the admit card) will be released a few weeks before the exam. This document is released before the release of the CUET admit card. This slip tells students the city where they will appear for the exam.

5. Admit Card Download: The CUET 2026 admit card will likely be released a few days before the exam. Students can download it from the NTA website using their application number and date of birth.

6. Date of Examination: The CUET UG 2026 exam is expected to be held between May and early June 2026, in CBT mode. Exact dates will be announced by NTA.

7. Display of Answer Keys & Recorded Responses:

After the exam, NTA will upload:

  • Provisional Answer Key
  • Recorded Responses

This usually happens around June 2026. Students can challenge the answer key by paying a small fee per question.

8. Result Declaration: The CUET 2026 result will be released on the NTA website in July 2026, along with scorecards for all candidates.

CUET 2026 Correction Window: What You Can & Cannot Change

During the CUET 2026 correction window, NTA allows candidates to edit some details in their application form. However, not all fields are editable. The rules typically stay the same each year, so the 2026 correction window is expected to follow these guidelines:

Details You CANNOT Change:

Once the form is submitted, these fields cannot be edited:

  • Mobile Number

  • Signature (image upload)

Details You Can Change (All Fields Allowed)

This helps students correct academic details if they are entered incorrectly.

Other Details You Can Change

Note:

CUET is conducted across multiple days and in multiple shifts. The number of exams you have in one day depends on the subjects you chose.
