CUET 2026: Section-Wise Exam Pattern
CUET UG is divided into three major sections:

CUET 2026: Marking Scheme
- +5 marks will be awarded for every correct answer.
- –1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.
- 0 marks will be given for unattempted questions.
- All questions will be objective-type MCQs.
- The marking scheme is uniform for all subjects (Language, Domain Subjects, and General Test).
- Scores will be calculated based on the normalization process, as the exam is conducted in multiple shifts.

CUET 2026: Number of Subjects You Can Choose
Students can choose up to 5 subjects in CUET UG.
A typical combination looks like:
- 1 language tests
- Up to 3 domain subjects
- General Test
The exact number depends on the university/course requirements.
CUET 2026: Exam Mode & Structure
- The exam is held in online CBT mode.
- Each subject is a separate test of 60 minutes.
- Exams are scheduled across multiple days and shifts.
- Students may get 1–3 exams per day depending on subject combinations.
- paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Syllabus is based on Class 12 NCERT syllabus (for most domain subjects)
